Meet Hannah -

An 18 year old youth member of our church who's passion is to go out and spread the Gospel.  At a very young age, Hannah's parents always instilled in her that when she grew up she was going to be active in the missions field.  She held on to that word spoken over her life as a child and now has the opportunity to travel all the way to Africa to bring the Love and Gospel of Jesus Christ to those in need.

NEW FUTURE, INC.

Orphanage.

More than 15 years ago our church and our leader Rev. Dr. Simon Castillo traveled to various republics of Latin America in order to evangelize and assist congregations. They had the opportunity to visit the Dominican Republic in his evangelistic tours and visited congregations there. God put in his heart a vision for an orphanage in the Dominican Republic in order to provide everything needed for children who would be staying there. Along with him were Brother Israel Cruz and his wife Sister Margarita Cruz, Brother Carlos Bayon and Sister Mirta Bayon. Our church prayed as they went to the Dominican Republic for the purpose of seeking and finding a place to establish the work. After some time, the Rev. Dr. Simon Castillo was invited to go back because they were unable to find the right place where they could begin construction. While at a restaurant called “Parada Jacaranda” on Duarte Avenue, Roberto Morales, co-owner of the restaurant, had arrived and went to greet them and discuss the reason of their visit. While in conversation, it emerged that he and the Rev. Dr. Simon Castillo knew each other from NY about 35-36 years ago. Roberto Morales invited the Rev, and the other church members there the next day to give them a tour of the land. He lead the group to a development called the Jacaranda and there showed them a tract of land and told them that there is a likelihood that there is where they could carry out the project. They thought it was very expensive and would be difficult to raise funds to pay the cost of the land but Roberto Morales emphasized and made it known that he was interested in donating the land for the building of the orphanage. After making all the corresponding procedures we were given the green light to use the site and begin construction. God worked in the heart of Robert Morales and recommended that the contractor, and architect, a woman who had been involved with projects of this nature and felt moved, help us. For the construction of the fence, members of our church contributed financially to the cost of 30 thousand dollar. The architect produced drawings and then spoke with builder, Enrique who then took over. For the construction, we invested $ 350, 000.

Rev. Dr. Simon Castillo is grateful to his church for having made this effort and sacrifice and also for the help we give our missionaries Israel & Margarita Cruz.

We try to help in providing what is needed and doing everything we can. We are also part of the school project the orphanage has and are contributing financially for the children and school teachers.
